TUTOR’S FAQ

You can work with us by registering yourself as a tutor or student on our website mymegaminds.com. When you do this, you will be asked to appear for a test, once qualified all future communications will be sent to your Megamind account and email registered with it.
Follow these simple steps to register with us:
  1. Using computer, Go to mymegaminds.com
  2. Click on Login now in the top right corner of the computer screen.
  3. Click on Register and Put all the Basic Info
  4. Select ‘Tutor’ under Register As tab to work as a freelance writer with us.
  5. Enter a password
  6. Select ‘Register’
You will receive an automated e-mail from our side to verify your email address. Do remember to check your junk/spam folder in case you cannot find it. Please click on the link to confirm your email address.
Once you register you will be asked to appear a writing test.
You will receive a confirmation in 2-3 working days once you have successfully submitted the writing test given by Megamind team.
In case you fail to pass the test you will be notified the same through email.
Now that you have decided to work in your free time, you can search for projects using these steps:
  1. Login to your Megamind account
  2. Click on the ‘Assignment’ in the left tab of your window.
  3. You will see a number of tabs on your screen.
  4. Click on ‘New Tab’ to search for available project.
You can always look for an available project in the notification bar on your home page. In fact, we send notification on your registered email.
We always keep a record of projects done by you.
  1. Login to your Megamind account
  2. Click on the ‘Assignment’ in the left tab of your window.
  3. You will see a number of tabs on your screen.
  4. Click on ‘Assigned’ to search for available project.
You can always look for projects done by you under the ‘My Projects’ button under Quick Access on your homepage.
Please contact our moderators if you are not able to do so.
Now that you have decided to work, follow these steps to apply for a project.
  1. Browse the project under ‘New tab’. Look for how to search assignment in the previous FAQ.
  2. Click on ‘View’ to see the full details of the project.
  3. Check deadline, description, compensation, and attachments carefully.
  4. Click on ‘Apply Now’
  5. he button will change to ‘Applied’
In case you have applied to a project by mistake please inform one of our team members and select ‘I don’t want to do this project’ button under the assignment detail in ‘Assigned tab’
You will receive an automatic email in case your application for a particular project is confirmed from our side.
Done with your project? Submit it online on our website :
  1. Login into your account
  2. Select ‘Assignment’ and go to ‘Assigned’ tab.
  3. Click on the button under action in the right corner.
  4. You will be redirected to the submission page. Upload the solution.
That’s all. Our team will assess your project and get back to you.
You can choose a subject of your expertise so that we can contact you regarding that.
  1. Go to ‘Profile’ under the tab in your left.
  2. Select ‘ Basic Information’.
  3. You will find a list of subjects you have already chosen at the time of registration.
  4. Please add as many subjects as you want to. We personally recommend you to add ‘General Academic Writing’ so that you can receive projects on general subjects like writing an essay on the impact of television on children.
You can personalize your profile by adding info. To do so please follow the steps:
  1. Go to ‘Profile’ under the tab in your left.
  2. Select ‘Basic info’ to change your name, add a picture and add subjects.
  3. Add your contact details under ‘Contact Information’. You can also change the already existing information.
  4. To change your password, please select ‘privacy settings’
  5. Personalize your account by choosing colors under ‘ Theme setting’
  6. Select ‘save’ if you make any changes.
  1. Go to ‘Profile’ under the tab in your left.
  2. Select ‘Privacy setting’.
  3. Enter a new password and confirm it again.
  4. Put your old password
  5. Click on save
Forgot your password? No worries.
  1. Click on login now.
  2. Enter your email address and select forgot password.
  3. Enter your email address again. You will receive an automatic link to reset the password.
  4. Follow the steps given in the email to reset your password.

Generally, our payment cycle is weekly and you will be paid every Tuesday for all the work. But you will have to give an invoice for us to process the payment. In case your payment is delayed please contact our moderator team or Kaushlendra Kumar
In case you decide to quit Megamind for some reason, you will have to contact kaushlendra.k12@fms.edu to delete your account. The website doesn’t have an option to delete or deactivate account.
